Maybe someone deleted their account or deleted you from their friends?

how do you know you lost one?  I don't think they randomly disappear, you probably got deleted.  =(

I figured out who it was. It looks like a friend of mine deleted her account. I was beginning to think that I had offended someone!

My nephew got kicked off after someone from his frat posted inappropriate pix on his Facebook. . . then he got reinstated and forgot to re-add me. . . but I think that's the only friend I've lost.

You can defriend people.  I haven't done it, but I have a friend who does this.  He doesn't want people he doesn't really know looking at his pages.
