Anyone paint a tree on DC's wall? Please share...

Another option is to make one from bark-like fabric and then use liquid startch to attach it to the wall.  We fabriced whole walls at the Nature Center I work for this way.  The cool think was that some of our felt animals we used on felt boards actually stuck to the fabric on the walls and kids were able to make little animal scenes in the bushes and in the sky we put up.  The nice thing is that you can just peel the fabric off when you don't want it anymore.

There are several websites out there with instructions on using liquid starch and fabric to cover walls.  Renters do this instead of paint sometimes.  I think you need to use 100% cotton fabric.
