When do you take down holiday stuff?

I had already taken apart the tree (only 2 feet tall, so it wasn't hard) on Christmas night. By noon today everything was packed away. Christmas is OVER in our house! I am a procrastinator on so many things, but not this!

I usually take everything down the week after New Years. It is such a huge pain to put everything up that I want to get the most out of it that I can!

We put away everything this afternoon.

All the Christmas decor inside is down, packed and put away in their boxes as of 3pm this afternoon.  The lights on the house are still going strong though, but that's only because we've had so much snow fall lately, it'll take a DH a while to get them down.

I never take down the stuff until the weekend after New Years.  My ILs are coming on Monday for the week to do the whole xmas thing so there is really no point in taking itdown

We took everything down yesterday morning. We needed the space for DD's new art easel and Dora kitchen. Our tree was so ugly this year that I was happy to see it go! LOL

You people are seriously depressing me!  I will probably take the tree down after my daughter's 2ond birthday (which is the 9th)  We usually don't take down anything until at least the weekend after New Years.  My parents always left the tree up at least until Jan. 7th.  I didn't get a chance to put up outdoor lights this year, but they would be on for a while if I did.

We usually keep everything up until Little Christmas.  However everything is going away today.  With the new baby coming I want the house in order ASAP!
