U/S today revealed twins!

Hi ladies-I was wondering if I could join your group?  I just had my first u/s today, and it's twins!! We saw 2 fetal sacs immediately and both had strong heartbeats as well. I'm 6w5d today and both are on schedule in terms of growth! DH and I are just thrilled!! My first OB check-up is Jan. 6th. Not sure if I'll have another RE appt. or not.

Our very brief story-we got pg on IVF#3. Transferred two 5-day blasts. We did microarray genetic testing at CCRM, so we know both are boys (with >90% certainty). We had been trying for nearly 2 years and have failed 2 IUIs and 2 IVFs previously. I look forward to getting to know all of you. Congrats to each of you on your little miracles as well!

My original due date was Aug. 16, but my twin due date should be July 25th.  Yay!!

Why did they give you a 'twin' dur date? Multiples pregs are 40w, the same as singles. At any rate, congrats and hold on-- it's a wild ride.
