Am I the only one that feels like it is really early to even think about them?

It kind of stresses my mind if I even think about starting to think about names. If that makes sense.

Well, we've thought about names. We still have our girl name left over so if we have a girl we know what her name will be =D As far as boys go, we're still debating...

I started thinking about it immediately, but only because I knew we'd we'd need all the time we could get to pick one.  I'm 21w now and still don't have anything narrowed down.

DH and I already know what names we will might use for #3 so we say it's never too early.

We had our boy name picked out when we were first TTC.  However, we cannot agree on a girl name, so we are still going back and forth about it.  I don't think it's too early to at least think about names, because minds get changed a lot.

We had our girl name picked out when we were TTC but we can't decide on a boy's name yet. We find out the baby's gender next month so we can really concentrate on it then if we need to. I don't think it's too early. Our first child didn't have a name until he was three days old so we tried to get a head start this time!

I can understand that.  But I felt like it was less stressful to work on names when we had lots of time left to decide.  It can be really hard to decide on what you both love, so having lots of time to discuss them without pressure was helpful for us.

I said the same thing today! In first tri i was just wanting to make sure i made it to 2nd tri, not worry about baby names. Plus, you have MONTHS to decide on a name, why worry about it so soon.

Maybe its just me, but i think its kinda silly when i see someone 6 weeks pg asking what name is good. Start a long list of names and gradually mark them off as time goes by. There is no rush!

I htink the 2nd time around it takes a little longer.  But, I had my DS named before he was conceived.

DH and I didn't think about names until 3 or 4 months.

We've been talking about names since before we were TTC! It's irresistable. I swiped my mom's baby name book after she had her last kid and over the years I've read through it many times... I just love name lists.

We are planners so we have had names we were considering since 1ST trimester. Thinking about fun stuff like names kept me from thinking about scary things. Now Since we found out we are having a girl we think we will use the boy name we had if we ever have a boy. When you know you know. To each their own.
