Babies: 9 - 12 Months

When to piggy back Tylenol & Motrin?

Do I need pedi's permission (or recommendation)? We go at 2 but I feel like he needs something now (had Motrin at 9). I just dont want to overdose Mr. Henry who feels horrible.

Re: When to piggy back Tylenol & Motrin?

  • Its only been three hours i would wait another hour personally.
  • Loading the player...
  • I would wait until the Dr's appointment if you're going anyway.

Normally, if my kids are miserable, I switch motrin & tylenol every 3 hours, if one is not helping....

    hope he's better soon!

  • Pedi said it works great for teething, ear infections..

    His instructions were:

Tylenol- wait the four hours, Motrin- wait the 6 hours, Tylenol- wait the four hours and so forth.

You dont want to give a new dose of anything until the previous time frame has passed.

    Hope he feels better!!
