so i was told deli meat isnt good,....and what about Pepperoni? I am starving at work and dont have anything here but pepperoni to eat haha....lunch isnt until 11 ahhh....help!
Were you told by your doctor to not eat deli meat?
If so, then you can choose to listen to your doctor (I usually do). If this was by a friend, then deli meat is perfectly fine. If you are concerned about it, then you can heat it up. But generally speaking if you've never gotten sick from a turkey sandwich then you won't get sick from eating it now.
As far as pepperoni, go for it. I would heat it up but that's just cause pepperoni cold = gross
Haha thanks! thats what my co workers said....the dr told me just to make sure that the deli meat is well cooked and all that,...im sure if i go to subway that everything is well cooked,...mostly cause they wouldnt want the law suit! Yay! A snack! Im sooo hungry
Listeria (the bacteria found in lunchmeat) can be extremely dangerous to an unborn fetus. Something can be fully cooked but still contain this bacteria. Heating it in a microwave or in a pan is the safest way to kill the bacteria and avoid getting sick. I can't wait to eat a huge turkey hoagie after I have this baby!!!
