Innie penis?

My brother, who has twin boys, is overly concerned because occasionly when you change diapers their penises are 'innies'. You just have to press on either side of the penis to make it pop out. So, before my brother googles something about and gets some totally unrelated, he wants to know if this is normal? Normal? Something to worry about? Bonus points if you can give Me a website that talks about it. Thanks!

I had a similar thing with DS1 when he was 6 months old weighing 24 lbs and now I have the same thing with DS2, he's 8 months old and weighs 27lbs... ?this "problem" went away as soon as DS1 started slimming down a bit, we'll see if the penis will be and "outtie" when DS2 loses some of his rolls.

I've seen this in a friends baby.  It's like a turtle in its shell.  And usually in chubby babies.  Most grow out of it as they slim down.  I forget the real name of it.  But I know it is commonly refered to as a hidden penis.

I've seen it happen with a couple of babies that I used to watch- I think I've always heard it referred to as "turtling." And yeah, from what I understand, it's fairly common with chunky, chubby babies- it's just hidden in all their little fat rolls which is why is pops out when you kind of press the skin back. It should be just fine as they change from chubby babies and slim down into little boys.?

are they chubby babies? My DS had a large "fat pad" behind his penis- that made his look like an 'innie" a lot - the doc said not to worry- and he was right... as DS started to lose some baby fat- his penis came out more- b/c the fat pad went away.
