Guitar Hero is brutal

Ummm, GOD AWFUL come to mind.  Is it really necessary to make a screeching noise every time you mess up? I guess I should cut the hubs a break, as he has never played before.  I will be buying some ear plugs asap.

Ear plugs are a must. Does he just strum along or does he really get into rock star style. My DH think's he Slash or something when he plays.
