We're eating at DH's grandma's tomorrow. ;-)
I'm dreading going, she's already changed plans 3 times, the time twice, people are already fighting. But we need to say goodbye to DH's aunt - she is days/hours away from passing and will be home for christmas with hospice help, and is then going to a nursing home if she makes it. She LOVES our kids & got to spend 2 hours straight holding & playing with DS. She told me it was the best day she'd had in months. (breast cancer that just won't go away. She's in renal failure now) I just hope she doesn't go on christmas. I also hope Grandma-in-law and the rest of the family can suck it up for one damned day for her. One of the fights was that Grandma wanted said aunt to help cook and couldn't understand why she, um, couldn't. Ugh.
I'm out. Merry Christmas/Hanukkah everyone. Hope everyone's week/end is peaceful, happy, and filled with tons of wrapping paper mess :-))
