They are these small square pads that people recommended to me to use on the changing table, so you can lay it down over the changing table pad. They are waterproof, so they help with accidents, etc. I'm not sure what else I'll use them for, but definitely that.

I LOVE them! We have one where Riley sleeps at night so if he spits up in the middle of the night (a common ocurance) then I don't have to change the sheet. I also keep one in the living room for changing him on the couch or floor.
We used one where ever we put Ty down...you never know. Especially when putting him on our couch or bed- spit up is super stinky and the smell lingers. Poop also had a funny way of leaking out in unwanted places. Sorry if TMI. It's much easier to throw a tiny waterproof pad in the washer than wash all your bed linens or furniture : )
They are with the crib matress pads at BRU. FYI: My favs are the Carter's ones. The BRU ones get stuck to velcro closures on bibs and the velcro on a diaper.
Re: Silly question - but what is a lap pad? What what do you use it for?
Waterproof pads the size of a burp cloth : )
We used them everywhere and often.
Oh. Ok, that makes sense...
