what is wrong with people???

I just got back from shopping at an outdoor mall.  I was pushing my dd and down the sidewalk I saw this kid sitting in his stroller with shopping bags around him.  It took me a good minute to get up to the kid and still no sign of an adult.  I slow down when I get up to him and call out and say "who is with this boy??" I wait. Nothing. I call out again. Nothing.  I am searching around and I see no one. Another good minute goes by. Finally this woman comes from behind a car. I ask if it is her son and she give me a dirty look and says yes.  I tell her that I was concerned since I did not see him with an adult so I waited with him and that I was about to call a cop.  She got nasty and started to gather her bags and so.

I told her she got very lucky that no one took her child and she should be more careful. I was so miffed! What could be more important than keeping track of your child? I dont care what else is going on!!!!

OI vey people suck.

I am glad you said something to her. She needed a realty check. You might of saved her family Christmas by keeping an eye on that little boy.

I am glad that you said something to her. I hate being put on the spot but I probably would have said something to her also.

I agree, wtf is more important than tending to the child?
