Childbirth Class Suggestions?

Hey Everyone--My husband and I are trying to find a great childbirth/lamaze class in the city, but have been finding these one or two day, several hour class options...does anyone have any suggestions for classes that last maybe 6 or 8 weeks? Any suggestions you could give would be great!!

    Hi Kristen,

    Congratulations! There are very few week-to-week Lamaze classes offered in the city that are taught by Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educators (check for LCCE after the instructor's name - this ensures she's actually teach courses based on the Lamaze philosophy of birth, has passed the Lamaze exam etc.)

    I'm an LCCE and also certified doula who teaches small group classes and also private series (week-to-week) in clients' homes. I'd be happy to chat offline at birthtalk at mac dot com.

    I took my classes (certified) at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital.  They were 8 weeks in the evenings.  LOVED my educator!  She also teaches at Edwards hospital in Naperville.

    Also, there was more than 1 couple in my class who lived in the city.

    I just found one in the city, if you haven't yet.

    Be By Baby 1654 W Roscoe...

    I get their email and they have a class starting in Feb.
