Why would my cervix be getting longer??

I know this isn't a bad problem to have but I've had 3 cervix checks, 1st one it measure 3.6, next one 3.8 and today over 4!

I didn't know it could get longer! No really point to this point. I just thought it was weird!  I'm glad its not getting shorter though!

Have you had an internal ultrasound to measure or external?  Mine have always been slightly different (sometimes longer) each time I go in.  I always have an internal ultrasound to check this and I personally think it depends on which tech is measuring and there technique on measuring.

They are all internal. It was a differnent tech today so maybe that had someting to do with it.

Your cervix can get shorter and then longer again.  BUT, I too think that it depends on who is measuring it.

I've had internals with the same tech and I've gone from 3.8 to 4.7.  I'm not sure why, but it's a good problem to have, I guess!

bedrest lenghtened mine....longer is always better!
