I had my Imitrex refilled yesterday, and when I went to pick it up, the girl at the pharmacy said, "That will be $10." Um, my copay is usually $57, so I asked if they had the right Rx. She checked and said, "Oh, this is the generic. It just came out." Score! I've been waiting YEARS for them to come out with a generic for it. Even with the great insurance I had last year, my copay was still $40. Considering I get one refill a month, I'm looking at $47 in savings.
Just wanted to throw that info out there in case your pharmacy or doctor doesn't automatically give you the generic.
