3rd Trimester

shouldn't have googled it.

Please read the response where the woman suggests that she was 7 centimeters when her doctor decided to have her come in. That was the epitome of bullsh*t advice and my bullsh*t radar broke in protest of such a stupid lie.

Re: shouldn't have googled it.

  • docs do NOT send you home if you are over 4cms.

that post is old, from aug/sept.

LOL yes, I googled my progress. I told myself I would not think about it too much and now I'm obsessing.

  • omg, ladies!

It is so, so much better to NOT know your progress.  For realz.  I had an internal at my 41w apt.  I did not want to know the numbers.

I found out at my 6 week pp apt. the numbers...0 and 0.  If i had known that I would have gone INSANE!!!

  • Ummm.  Actually I was sent home from the hospital at 4 cm at 40w 2d.  My docs checked me earlier in the day before my NST.  My DS failed his NST, my docs knew I did not want to be induced, so they sent me up to triage for more monitoring.  DS passed this round of monitoring and they sent me home.  Yes, the residents were shocked, and my doctors really wanted to induce me. In the end it made for a fun labor as I started labor in active labor a week later, and was in transition while I was in triage.
