Alcohol OK with Lupron?

I forgot to ask my RE if I could drink while taking Lupron.  Does anyone know if it's okay?  I can check the label when I get home, but I thought I would ask here first.  Thanks!

well, my RE doesn't allow any alcohol at all during the whole IVF cycle (from BCPs to beta), but I think he's a bit extreme.

I started Lupron today so last night, I read through the Lupron pamphlet that came with the medicine and did not see anything about avoiding alcohol while taking Lupron.

With my first IVF I drank all the way up until I started stims.  With second IVF I stopped everything when I started any fertility drugs.  My RE says drinking is OK up until you start stims.  I wouldn't get totally trashed but a glass of wine or two should be fine.

I'm not sure if you "can't" drink on it but when I took it, alcohol made the side effects pretty bad. Of course I was on it a lot longer, six months twice, so that could have made the difference. Like PP said a glass of wine should be fine.

My RE said no alcohol during IVF treatment.

I drank during lupron, but not stims.  My doctor didn't mention no alcohol for either phase, though.
