PIP of DIY photo ornaments for grandparents:

I wanted DD to have something to give out for Christmas "from her," so I stole this idea from the other kindergarten teachers at my school.  All you do is cut out a round photo of DC and roll it around a pencil to get it inside the clear ornament (Michael's has them on sale right now for 40% or more off), and then stuff garland behind the photo and tie a bow on top.  I'm going to paint DD's name and the year on the back, too. The pic isn't very good, but you get the idea:

Very cute!  I think I'll do that next year.  We did the snowman handprint this year.

Super idea! I have some of those ornaments here too! I should see if I have some pics of the kids I could put in them!

I used a round medicine cup to make the circle, and just printed out 3.5 x 5 pics on white printer paper.  You have to play around with the size a little bit, and the tricky part is getting the pic in the right position, but once the garland is behind it, sometimes that helps to shift it around using a pencil through the top hole.

Super cute, we did handprint snowman with DS and the santa face with DD this year.........Love this one though.
