Re: **RLTHOMAS**

  • It is scary when a historically good eater/drinker starts refusing to eat, so I totally understand and I'm glad to help. My e-mail is rachel dot jarabeck at paonline dotcom if you want to e-mail me. Not sure how much nest time I'll have after work today, but I will have e-mail for sure.

The pedialyte popcicles worked better than the liquid for us, but they're not soft and "bitable" like the popcicles we had growing up, you actually have to suck on them. So I'm not sure how much liquid he got since it takes so long.

And we sent him back to daycare on Friday, thinking he was pretty much over it (started the previous Saturday) and he still isn't eating as much as normal. So it takes awhile for sure. Good luck! I hope he starts getting better soon!

  • thanks so much.

We did the popsicles too.  I smashed them and let them melt alittle so it was more like a slush.  Seemed to work better.

And your right, when my great eater/drinker starting refusing food and bottle, it scared the he!! out of me.  Im relieved though that there is an end in sight.  Thanks.
