Anyone tried this or know anyone who has?

We're on our 1st ear infection this season.  Last year, we had 3 of them in 4 months.  Now, I'm one of "those" moms who takes her in every time she is sick, wondering if it's an ear infection.  I'm wondering if it would be a wise investment?

Wow, that's interesting...I'd be interested to know how well it works.  My only cautionary advice (only because we're going through the same thing with DS), is that the ENT told us that fluid will linger in the middle ear up to one month after an EI is treated, and it doesn't necessarily mean it's still infected.  (which is why he schedules follow-ups one month after treatment instead of once the child has finished their antibiotics).

I'm looking at getting it b/c DD doesn't show the typical signs of an ear infection.  No fussing when laying down for naps or bedtime.  Sometimes will not eat as much.  Doesn't always run a fever.  If she does, it's low grade at 99.
