Who didn't get Lupron headaches??

Last night I was reading the pamphlet that came with the Lupron.  I wanted to learn a little more about the side effects.  The incidences of headaches (I think it was something like 7 out of 100?) were far less than the incidences of nausea, constipation, bone pain, and some other freaky side effects; yet it seems that so many of us complain of the Lupron headache.  I almost wonder if we get the headaches because we think we are going to get them.  So who doesn't/didn't get them?

I wouldn't call them headaches more like a small annoyance. The headaches I got from the birth control pills were killer

I have chronic headaches, and the lupron didn't make them better or worse. Honestly, I don't think I had any side effects from Lupron.

I got headaches (they were dull, constant and lasted until I started stims and dropped my Lupron dose) the 1st time I was on Lupron but I had no issues any other time I was on it.

I didn't get headaches during the first week, but once the second week rolled around I had brutal headaches every day. However, those don't equate how much my butt hurts from the PIO shots.

I never read the side effects for exactly that reason!  I don't want to be expecting anything.  I did get terrible Lupron headaches.  I also get migraines the week of my period.  I did not take bcps as part of my protocol for IVF and the nurse said the headaches were due to the drop in estrogen.  Other than that, Lupron didn't bother me at all.  Good luck to you!

I didn't get them.  Actually, the only potential Lupron side effect I had was trouble sleeping.  I didn't read the insert to see if that was on the list but my IVF nurse said that my insomnia was likely due to the Lupron.  Good luck and hopefully you'll avoid all side effects!

I haven't gotten any.  I've been on Lupron on and off since October.

Not only did I not get headaches, I don't think Lupron gave me any side effects.  I was lucky!
