I don't have multiples but we're planning on trying for another baby during my next cycle and are wondering about strollers. Right now we have we have the Chico key fit travel system and it folds up huge in my car. I'd like to get a new lighter stroller but I guess it seems silly for me to buy a single when we'll (fingers crossed) need a double within a year. We have an SUV with 3 rows and when all rows are up there's not a lot of room in back for a bulky stroller. Can you recommend a lightweight double stroller (preferably tandem) that folds up to be fairly compact? TIA!
Re: Question 4 u multiples moms
Fairly compact and double stroller unfortunately don't really go together. However, I recommend the graco duoglider. We can fit in behind the third row of our SUV just fine, and it's a tandem.
Go Red Sox!
for an umbrella type smaller stroller- i highly recommend the Combi Cosmo double. I have the single now and LOVE it- and 2 of my friends have the double and also love it. The price is great, they look great, have large sun coverage, fold up small and light- and have a carrying strap - also have a front bar, which DS likes to lean on when he's looking around (many don't have that).
for a large stroller for infant + toddler, the Phil & Teds is great. We have that now for just DS and it drives like a dream. and folds up very small for a double. It's the footprint of a single stroller, but holds 2 kids.
