the babies are going for massages!!

The babies were referred to Early Intervention by the NICU due to their preemie status.  They were evaluated today and everything seems to be going well for them and they are on target for everything (YAY!!) They recommended that they get massages to help make them more limber (they are stiff in the "trunk area") so someone will be coming out once a month to do that for the babies for the next 6 months... and teaching me some techniques.  (I do massage them after a bath but hey I am sure I can learn something new)

Now only if I can get them to deem it necessary for mommy to have one and it be covered as well.....

I was thinking the same thing - that any mother of multiples is entitled as well!

My boys are being evaluated by Early Intervention at the end of the month.  I don't think they'll be getting massages but I'll be interested to see what they will say, if they are on target or not.

And yes you should get a massage too!

Congrats on them being on target and how cool that you'll get to learn more about infant massage!  I agree, you should get one too
