tell me about your cycles after the pill

Its's my first month of bc and it looks like my cycle will be 40 days based on ff. I wish they would be shorter, but it might take a few months to return to normal right? Last time I stopped they were normal for 2 mo and then I had thyriod problems and everything was crazy
