We got no snow, but 4 inches of ice

It looks so pretty, but I know it's pretty bad. Our streets are clear, but DH needs to go out and start chipping away at the sidewalks.

Ice sucks.  We had a huge storm last year that knocked power out for a week.  We had ice last night, but it was on top of several inches of snow, so I think it is mostly okay.

Wait a minute, 4 INCHES of ice? I'm not trying to be rude, but are you sure?  We've had devastating ice storms here and I think it's usually less than an inch of ice...I can't even imagine what 4 inches would do!
