Where to find mugs that can be painted?

I'd like DD to make some coffee mugs for the grandparents for Christmas but don't know where to find plain ones with paintable surfaces. Any ideas?

Most craft stores seem to carry them in the kid craft area. ?

I got them at Micheals - they came with markers. It was super easy for my two year old and he LOVED doing it!
