We're getting a butt load of snow tomorrow (at least a foot) so I thought I'd swing by the supermarket while I was out and grab a few things. I didin't need anything desperately but figured since I was out I'd grab stuff. Well, it took me about 10 mins just to get in the parking lot. Then when I saw the store (still in my car) I just laughed. There was LINE JUST TO GET INTO THE FREAKIN STORE. It was about 30 people deep. Needless to say I turned around and went hom. People go beserk with impending snow. But this is NEW FREAKING ENGLAND people. Aren't you used to this already????
Re: I have NEVER seen anything like this before...
Too funny - I actually had to run to Trader Joes to get some milk for DS tonight, and it was much less crowded that usual. I thought it was funny because usually people FA-REAK at the thought of snow.
I did buy DS a toy snow shovel so he can help us tomorrow - lol!
What town are you in? DH had to go to the airport to pick up my mom and traffic was gridlocked - it must be because everyone thinks they're going to be house-bound tomorrow. geesh, this IS new england people!!!
