I now get why people actually like the infant stage!

I always say I am not an infant person I am more of a todddler person. I never understood how people could actually like the newborn stage. DD did not sleep, had colic and was a horrible nurser. DS on the other hand only wakes up every three hours at night, actually sleeps between nursing sessions and nurses well. I actually like the newborn stage with him. So ladies who are not fans of the newborn stage, it could all be different the second time around! It so depends on the kid, but I still prefer the toddler stage (they are just so darn funny).

  • I loved the infant stage.  They were so sweet and cute and cuddly.  Much more then the I am independent and you can't tell me what to do or else I'm going to hit you and scream and cry because I don't get my way stage.

  • I did like going out to eat and they just slept :)  But my 3 year old is a bunch of fun so I think each stage is fun.  They have challenges in every stage but precious moments too.

  • I can't believe that I am even going to say this 'out loud', but I always said I didn't want to do the newborn/infant stage again and DD was a breeze.  But, DS is just such a moosh, I am loving every second!  I guess that part of it may be because he is my last!
  • each stage has it's perks and problems.  :)  My dd is at the ideal age of 20 months...JUST entering the naughty and laugh hysterically at being naughty stage but is VERY easy to control.

My 3 year old can dress himself, can help out around the house, can crack me up, is interesting, but he can be a real bear.

  • I loved the infant stage and I had the unhappiest baby on the block!  I am a baby person.  5 year olds drive me batty though :-)
  • I liked the infant stage with DS, but I'm loving it this time.  Everything is so much easier the second time around!  Plus, I think that since we may be done having kids, I want to enjoy it.  DD has been a little more fussy and particular than DS, but I'm still going to miss it!  She seems like she's getting so big already!

  • Jackson was like that as an infant, and I still hated it!  I felt so stifled... LOL.

    I'm a horrible mom.  :)

  • i enjoyed both of my newborns (I am a baby person) but they are night and day.  DD sleeps and sleeps.  I have mastitis now though.  I think that's why :(
