I always say I am not an infant person I am more of a todddler person. I never understood how people could actually like the newborn stage. DD did not sleep, had colic and was a horrible nurser. DS on the other hand only wakes up every three hours at night, actually sleeps between nursing sessions and nurses well. I actually like the newborn stage with him. So ladies who are not fans of the newborn stage, it could all be different the second time around! It so depends on the kid, but I still prefer the toddler stage (they are just so darn funny).
Re: I now get why people actually like the infant stage!
I loved the infant stage. They were so sweet and cute and cuddly. Much more then the I am independent and you can't tell me what to do or else I'm going to hit you and scream and cry because I don't get my way stage.
Liam is 5!
each stage has it's perks and problems.
My dd is at the ideal age of 20 months...JUST entering the naughty and laugh hysterically at being naughty stage but is VERY easy to control.
My 3 year old can dress himself, can help out around the house, can crack me up, is interesting, but he can be a real bear.
my read shelf:
Jackson was like that as an infant, and I still hated it! I felt so stifled... LOL.
I'm a horrible mom.
