I just saw your post about MRSA boobs and just wanted to offer support. I, too, have been a MRSA infected patient since giving birth. Mine, however, was not in my boobs (though they didn't culture them... who knows). My MRSA was in my arm.
Just make sure if you are still pumping that whatever antibiotic they put you on is safe to BF with. My PCP told me it was safe to BF DD on my antibiotic and the Pedi said absolutely not. Apparently, my PCP was trying to fry DD's kidneys.
Maybe I should drive the 4.5-5 hours from my house (in WV) and hang out with you. Sounds like we could have lots of fun! We share a lot in common... defecto breasts and antibiotic resistant bugs!
Re: LucyP

I was on Clindamycin and then after my allergic reaction... yep I had one of those too.... I was on Levaquin.
Yep, I really had MRSA. Maya was 12 days old when I went on antibiotics. A few days later I had an incision and drainage. The wound was packed from a Monday to a Friday. I found out on Thanksgiving Day that it was MRSA. I was not too thankful!
I pray that you don't have MRSA. It's the pits!!
One day we'll have to arrange a get together.
