DD liked her nanny more than me today

DD loves her nanny and is always super happy to see her and even seems to get that her nanny is who takes care of her when she's there. But today for the first time, DD did NOT want me! She was saying "up, up" to her nanny and when I offered to pick her up she said no and insisted on her nanny. Then when I took her from the nanny to give her a big hug goodbye, she didn't want to come and said "no! mar (what she calls her nanny)!" all pathetic. I keep telling myself that its wonderful that she loves her nanny and spending time with her so much, but it was my first mommy moment where she really hurt my feelings

DD does that occasionally with my cousin, who has her every day.  It does hurt my feelings sometimes, but I am glad that she has someone who loves her and she loves taking care of her, since I have to work.
