didnt give ovidrel inject correctly!

So I got my progesterone results back and they are low so I was told to give myself an ovidrel shot. I let me husband give it to me tonight but he didnt penetrate the skin deep enough and so it pooled under my skin and absorbed in my body a few minutes later.

 Does that mean it will not work correctly?

 Next time I guess I better do it myself....

You should be fine.  To double check, use a cheapie pg. test tomorrow - the hCG should give you a positive

Since it was a subcutaneous injection & not an intramuscular, you should be ok since it will hopefully have absorbed into your subcutaneous fat like it would've if he'd injected it all the way in. maybe it was just b/c it tends to be a higher quantity than some of the other injections....GL!
