I was JUST thinking today how it could be nice to have a bottle of Reisling for Christmas. But we're driving two days to warmer climes... but it's like a high of 3 today. I know we'll be in COLD for a day of our trip.
If we brought it into the hotel with us, will it hold up? fwiw we have a hatchback so the trunk would not be frozen separated from the heat of the car.
And yes, yes, I can just buy a bottle down there, but it's a *DRY* county (Bible belt, what can I say...) and it's the kind of thing were it gets everyone all talking, stressing out about organizing a trip, etc, etc. Seems helluva easier to just have it and offer it to whoever wants it. My FIL doesn't drink anything but crap beer and MIL and DH, grandmother may share with me.
Re: OK, wine - can we have it in our cold car?
