The other day I was trying to explain to DH about the sharp pains I was having in my cervix when I was trying to walk across the kitchen.  He didn't get it so I told him to imagine be stabbed in the testicles from the inside.  He stopped, looked at me, and said, "I don't think that would feel very good."  He hasn't made any more comments about my pain
