Co-sleeping sucks.

At least it does with a two year old.  I have to be covered in bruises.  How I don't have a black eye, I'll never know.

His fever is gone, thank goodness.  Back to school tomorrow.

Re: Co-sleeping sucks.

  • Sorry.  DD can be a spaz sometimes, but usually she snuggles up against me & passes out.

  • I've never done it. (I"m scared to).

  • I can only imagine. We put DS in bed with us once when we were OOT and it was horrible! I could not imagine doing it on a nightly basis, we would never get any decent sleep. DS has to be in his bed to get a good night rest. He is not one of those children who can not fall asleep just anywhere. Glad to hear he's better.
  • I couldn't do it.  I'd rather be up all night in the rocker!  Glad Will is feeling better though!
  • It's not the most comfortable. DD will sleep on top of me and and I can barely move. She usually likes to have her head on my head.

Glad to hear your big boy is doing better.

  • Aaand this reminds me why every time I *think* it would be a "fun" idea to try co-sleeping with DS (e.g., when DH is OOT or DS is sick) I need to talk myself out of the idea :)

Sorry you're so beat up this morning :(

  • My newborn won't sleep without full body contact and my 2.5 year old had his food in my ribs last night.  Good times.

I'm jealous.  I wish mine was a snuggler.

  • I've been doing this off and on with DS for the past few weeks that he's been sick since he was throwing up in his sleep and I was afraid he would choke.  Luckily he has a double bed, but even so he whacked me in the head so hard a few times, I started sleeping sideways across the bottom of his bed.  My feet were hanging off the end but at least I wasn't getting punched in my sleep.

  • Ha- try sleeping with two kids and a husband, LOL. The nights might not always be the most comfortable, but waking up with both of the kids being all snuggly and super sweet totally makes it worth it.?

I agree!  I always think of how I'll remember these nights 30 years from now.

  • Ha, we tried this last night too. But Gina just won't sleep this way. She was crawling all around our bed, trying to 'find' the baby.

Glad to hear that Will is on the mend! Did you take him to the pedi?Did he have an ear infection?  We are going today at 3:15

  • I love co-sleeping with my cuddly 2 yo.  She's so sweet cuddling right up to me and staying far away from daddy.  The only problem is that last night she moved so far away from daddy that I almost fell off the bed.  ;)
