Anyone have 25/26 day cycles??(and get pregnant?)

My ds was born last January, and now I have really short cycles, 25/26 days as compared to before he was born and they would be between 28 and 31 days.

any success stories of getting pregnant with shorter cycles???

thanks

  • not me but shorter cycles = more frequent ovulation, lucky girl.

  • What part of your cycle is short? Your follicular or luteal? Do you chart? A short luteal phase may cause problems but a short follicular is usually ok.

What's exactly what I was thinking.  My coworker got KTFU and she has really short cycles.

  • I had very short cycles-usually 23-26 days. I got my BFP last month. I had an 11 day LP. I just ovulate early. As long as your LP is 10 or more days you are ok.
  • My cycles were only 22-23 days on average and I managed to get KU on my first cycle trying and charting. DH is convinced that it was his super sperm though, lol, men. Here's my BFP chart, I hope it makes you feel a little better!

EDIT> I'll also mention that I had a short luteal phase, only 7-8 days, in case you're in that boat as well.

  • Not pregnant yet, but I am on a 26 day cycle.  My LP is 12 days.
  • With DS I would have had a 26 day cycle the month I got pregnant, had I not gotten pregnant.  This time around it would have been a 25 day cycle because I O'd on CD 11 and was having a 14 day LP.  It's the length of your LP that matters, not the cycle length, for the most part.  GL!

  • I frequently had 25/26 day cycles... I just ovulated very early in my cycles.  My LP was still 13 or 14 days long.  If your LP is short, then you may have an issue... if not, then enjoy having a shorter time to wait for your BFP!
