Anyone else notice that Rudolph is missing from the Polar Express?

I've never seen it, but I am assuming they take a more traditional view of Santa. Rudolph isn't supposed to be there - there are technically only the 8.

Ditto.  I've watched it a few times in the last few weeks and it definitely focuses on the traditional eight reindeer that pull his sleigh.

i don't think rudolph is in most Christmas movies other than the ones focusing on rudolph.  We have three taped to watch right now, now I will have to pay close attention.

I've never noticed and I've watched it, oh...I don't know, probably 6 thousand times.  It's one of DS's favorites.

I love the movie.  I saw it in a theatre.  We took the 1-3 graders to see it in 2004. We gave it to Blaire at her party today.  And turned it on as soon as we got home.  She watched it, in my lap.  She was excited to see santa, and pointed to the tree trunk Santa and my American Flag Santa when he came out in the movie.  I'll make sure we're watching it again before Christmas.
