I am the worst Labor Buddy ever!  I didn't know that you had your son.  I feel horrible, are you doing ok?  How is he?  I just saw your response to me and couldn't believe my eyes....I'm sorry.  I haven't been on the boards lately, I've been scrambling around like a chicken with my head cut off with the holidays and preparing for the baby.

it's okay! i went into labor on november 1 and had jack on november 2, VERY unexpectedly and 3 months early. he was 2 lbs 13 oz, which was pretty big for his gestation!we hadn't even worked out a plan, so i couldn't have updated you anyway! i'm fine, though exhausted from pumping every 2-3 hours round the clock, and he is doing well. he will have to be in the hospital for awhile (they say probably till close to his due date), but he is making progress and growing really well. he's big enough now that we try breastfeeding once a day, though he doesn't do much yet. i have so much milk in my deep freezer that it got too full and i donated half of my freezer full to a local woman who need more for her baby. that was pretty awesome - feels good to be helping.

i am glad your pregnancy is more uneventful than mine! we can still be labor buddies if you want - you can email me and we can exchange phone numbers or whatnot. :-)

Sounds great, I was reading your blog to catch up on Jack.  I'm glad both you and he are doing well, hang in there.  I have your email and will stay in touch.  Best wishes.   Kristen
