Are EMU and UGGs the same?

    I asked this the other day.  They are similar, but different brands.  MH got me some super cute EMUs for Christmas.  I can't wait.

    Two different brands, both made in Australia. EMUs are a bit less expensive.

    They are very comparable, totally two different brands.  Basically "Uggs" are just the style of the boot.  The Ugg company trademarked the name Ugg and are the only company allowed to market and sell under it.  I have a pair of Uggs just because I got a good deal on them.  Emu and Uggs IMHO both make high quality boots.
