Heiny Wash

I got a sample of some Heiny Wash with my most recent diaper purchase.  I know people say these things last forever, but how?  It says to put one in with 1-2 cups of water.  I only got 2.5.  Do people break them up smaller and use less, or use more water?  I'm just not seeing how this sample is going to last me as long as everyone said it would.

Maybe they meant when you buy a whole load of them they last forever? 

If you got 2.5 "cubes" then you can make 5 cups of wash- I do cut mine in half and sometimes I add extra water, but I keep mine in a squirty bottle that holds 1 cup and I add extra water if I am running low and there is still some solid cube left or if it looks really "strong"

also I guess it depends on how much wash you use w/ each change- sometimes I use a ton (for a messy poopy diaper) and other changes I use a tiny amount..

I bought a pack of buns up wipe solution and it does seem like I will have enough to last for 2 years.
