Old navy maternity sizing for tops....

Do you find that they run according to the size chart or do they run a little small?  According to the size chart it says I would be a XS for tops but I think I would be a Small or even a Medium.  I hate ordering stuff online b/c of sizing but their prices are so good!

They run true to size for me.  But I noticed that their maternity tank tops, which I love--I wear them under all the flimsy maternity tops I own--shrunk a little in the wash.

I've only tried the tank tops.  I got xs which is what I normally wear in ON and they just cover my belly.  Its fine for now but they won't last.

I got a bunch of new stuff at ON the other day, I was a small pre-pg and can still wear a small in the sweaters but had to go up to a medium in the cotton tops (like the plain long sleeved shirts) because my boobs have grown so much.

I think they run big.  I wear an XL, and got have been getting large from there.

they have $7 flate rate shipping--and free shipping on returns (you go to their website and print a  label to stick on the package).  So order a couple of sizes of each and return what doesn't work! :-)

ONs stuff is pretty true to size. However, I will say that sometimes their tank tops run a little strange. Meaning - you could pull two off the rack in the same size and one would be perfect and the other would be too small. I have a maternity tank that fits tighter than a non maternity tank!

I normallly would have worn a small or medium pre-pregnancy, the small in maternity fits me better, the medium seems to run pretty big IMO.  The tanks do seem a smaller so I would order a medium in those if I had it to do over again.

I usually wear a small.  I bought mediums in ON tops and they're pretty big right now.  However, by the end they'll probably fit perfectly, so I'm keeping them.

I think their maternity stuff runs BIG. And also inconsistent.

I usually wear an XXL or have to go up to their plus-size stuff ... I ordered XL jeans that are HUGE on me in the thighs and butt, and a XXL fleece hoodie is still like a tarp on me even after washing/drying.

I do what PP said -- order multiple sizes and send back what doesn't fit.
