Do only skinny chicks' belly buttons pop out?

I had some belly flab before I got pg (both times) and mine never popped out with DD, and hasn't yet with this one.  I always thought it only happens if you're really thin to begin with...true or no?

Mine seems to be a pretty deep too.

No... I started out a size 2 ..... still have the belly button. It's pretty flat some days -- but I doubt it will actually "pop." But then again.... I'm also pretty tall... so maybe I just have more room for baby to spread out & up in there.

mine toggles lol. it's like half innie half outtie...i know that makes no sense, but the top half sticks out and the bottom doesn't.

it pops out when i laugh too...which i find hilarious...so then it sends me into a laughing fit...it's a vicious cycle!

Well I am a fat chick & mine stayed an innie both pregnancies...I mean wasn't even flat.

Yeah I would not say that I was "skinny" to begin with.  Size 8, but I did have a sorta flat belly.  My belly button is going to definitely pop out soon.

I was a size 0 pre-pregnancy and I have never had my belly button pop out. It got flat with DD#1 and so far it is still fairly deep with this one too.

I think it has more to do with how deep it was to start and how large your bump grows.

Only the top half of mine sticks out too! But it's all the time, not just sometimes...

Mine never popped out with Noah.  I don't think it will this time either because it is really deep.

My friend who is plus sized belly button popped out.  The guys at work would make remarks to her like "The turkey's done"....
