Where is baby sleeping?

Are any of you going to try putting baby in their crib in their room the first night? I know a lot of people just have them sleep in their room for a bit. My MIL had all her boys stay in their rooms right away and she said it worked great. I'm thinking it might be worth trying?

I think at night she'll be in our room in a pack n play, but I'm going to try to have her in her crib for daytime sleeping so she'll get used to it too.  I'm pretty much open to her sleeping wherever it works at first.

She'll be in our room in a cradle.  I'll try putting her in her crib during the day some though.

I would love to start him in his room, but we have a two story house (master downstairs and nursery upstairs), so for my sake, I'm going to put him in the PNP bassinet for a little while. As soon as he's MOSTLY sleeping through the night, up he goes!

in a bassinett in our room. it will be MUCH easier to keep an eye on him and to feed him!    i have no idea for how long though.. maybe a month, maybe two?  *shrug

with my oldest I put him in his crib right away but his room was right next to ours. with my last one and with this one, he will be in the bassinet at night and then in his crib during the day.

He will sleep in his bassinet in our room until he outgrows it. Then he will move to his crib across the hall.

Why are you switching to having this one in the room with you? Was the crib experience not good?

I plan on BFing.  So for convenience, he'll be in our room.  He'll be in the "family-bassinett" made in 1919.

We plan to use a cosleeper the first few months, so he'll be in our room.

He willl be in a glider cradle in our room for the first few months.

We're planning to keep him in our room with us for the first little while. Mostly because our house really isn't insulated (California) and it gets COLD at night & we want to make sure his room/our room is the right temperature for him.
