Kegels?

My baby book said I'm supposed to be doing these...but I can never remember to do them...  is there anyone out there seriously doing kegels?  Why or why not?

Re: Kegels?

  • Every day!!

I did them with my first and I had a great labor and delivery.  I can't say this was the reason, but I figure it can't hurt to get things in shape a bit.

  • I start the exercises whenever I hear the word.  Thanks for the reminder.

  • I always forget to do them and I find it annoying! How many are you supposed to do a day?

  • Everyday . . . I've known people with prolapsed uteruses (is that the proper plural for that?!) because their PC muscles were not in shape.  Also, I'm told it helps with other important functions like incontinence, so it isn't just for pregnancy/labor/delivery.  My grandmother has HUGE problems with incontinence.  I do not want to have those same issues.  I do about 100 a day.

  • I guess I need to go read up on these?
