when did your DC first sing a song?

I swear my almost-17-mo-old DD sang Row Row Row Your Boat last night while taking a bath. I'm so mad I didn't have my video camera charged and handy!

At 21 months, its like a switch has been turned on and R now sings everything...even things i have no idea where she learned it.

But, she started singing a few things around 17-18 months...

A few months ago he started singing itsy-bitsy spider. Or "wash pider out" as he calls it.

Mitch is 18 months and doesn't sing any song fully, but does sing

"tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, tinkle" for twinkle, twinkle little star.

and

"wo wo wo wo wo wo" for row, row, row your boat.

So really just one word over and over...kind of like Elmo.

pretty recently at about 2 years.

he sings some songs completely and others he sings one line over and over and over and over....

Bella was about that age. At 22 months, she can sing at least 15 songs. Ethan was much older, like 2.5 when he started.
