Babies: 9 - 12 Months

What age is jumperoo over?

How old was your DC when the jumperoo was finished? We are visiting my parents in another state and Easton just wants to jump! I am debating on going to buy a jumper for their house but we only visit about once a month or every  6 weeks since it is a flight to get here... If I knew for sure we could have another baby, the decision would be easy, but who knows! So, any advice? We have the rainforest jumperoo at home, any cheaper ones you recommend for the grandparents house?

Re: What age is jumperoo over?

  • I think within the next month well have to put the jumperoo away. He has the FP rainforest jumper and hes almost at the weight limit of 25 pounds(hes 23.5 lbs) and also on "level 3" for height and almost touching the ground flat footed.

Maybe well get more use out of it with the next baby. :-)

  • In the last few weeks DD has shown almost no interest in her jumperoo.  Is he crawling yet? I think since DD started crawling she always wants to be moving around and doesn't want to stay in one place at all.  If you want to get one you could look on CL and get a used one.

  • My son was never a big fan any ways, he hated being confined. But he was really over it at 7 months.
  • My daughter still likes it, and I have a friend who has her 14 mo old some times in it. She has the rainforest version, not sure if the weight restrictions is more for that one.  He is a smaller boy.
  • My DD's been over it for a month now probably. She loved it for a few weeks and then that was that. She hates being confined too and would much rather crawl all over the house :) We already lent it to a friend b/c she hasn't used it in weeks.

Ditto this.  Since he started crawling, he does not want to be contained.  Sometimes, I would like for him to be contained.  Sigh.

Mommy to Seth (4) and Catherine Anne (13 mo.) Excited to welcome a third child in March of 2013!
