Does your DC not pronounce R's?

At all or very well?  Brooke doesn't at all.  I thought moy for more was just something cute until she would eventually say more but she still doesn't and I've noticed that it's not just a few words with r's, it's all of them.  I'm not concerned for speech therapy or anything, I was just curious that if your DC did not, did they grow out of it?

  • Actually, DS doesn't pronounce his C's.  Instead of saying "come here please" he says "hum here please".  I am sure he will grow out of it soon.

  • Yeah, Rs are one of the last letters for them to pronounce, it's very normal.

  • Reagan has a few sounds that she doesn't do.

She can say mommy and moo very clearly, but "milk" comes out as "gok"

I know there are other sounds she can't pronounce, too.  I also kept thinking that as she started talking more, it would start to correct, but so far it hasn't.  But, I'm sure she'll get it eventually.

  • He doesn't say R's or L's very well.

  • DS can not pronounce his L's.  DD name comes out "Roarian"  and his name is "Cayton Wilma".
