sewers ?, how hard would it be to

cut off the feet to DD's footed PJs and put elastic in there so it's tight around her ankles.  She is all of a sudden just like her mama and doesn't want anything on her feet when she sleeps.  She refuses to wear any of the brand new footy PJs to sleep.

Simple enough for a novice?

  • I read this as sewers, as in wastewater and was completely confused on what the PJ issue had to do with sewers.

    lol.

I don't sew, but I think it would be do-able!

  • you should be able to cut just below the elastic if they already have them...if they dont I have no idea..

at first I thought you meant sewers like city sewers for waste lol

  • sh!t, how do you spells sewers then?  :)

    Thanks ladies!

  • Would we be seamstresses rather than sewers? Haha.?

Either way, I think it would be pretty easy. Just fold the end over twice to make a sort of tube wide enough for the elastic. Sew close to the top edge. Thread the elastic through (it's easy if you use a safety pin at the end) and then sew the ends together! Even if it doesn't look pro, it'll be easy to get the desired effect.?
