we are doing a gift exchange with friends and i was just going to get a game since i don't want to try to think of something creative. soooo what games do you suggest ($25 limit).

Imaginiff is a fun board game. Just bought it tonight on sale at Target for $18.?
?You write the player's names on the board. The players take turns drawing cards which read things like - "Imagine if Joe were an animal - which would he be - a dolphin, lion, squirrel, polar bear, etc." (There are more interesting questions than that, though...) Players have to guess which answer "Joe" really selected.?
scrabble is a favorite in my house. although, a board game called battle of the sexes is funny too. the good thing about scrabble is that you can play with just you and dh.
My future BIL introduced my family to Apples to Apples. We played for hours - it's hilarious.
Basically, you have several cards with phrases on them, and a rotating player picks a question card, and you put in one of your phrases that you think that person will most like as the answer. Totally subjective and lots of fun.
Plus, it's something most people probably don't have already.
Wise and Otherwise is a good one. It's like Balderdash, only you come up with the endings to phrases and adages from different cultures instead of phony definitions. You get points if people believe yours is true, and you get points if you guess the right one. Just played it with a big group Saturday night and everyone loved it.
