So I ordered my cards & they came yesterday & I misspelled Christmas as Chirstmas. Do I cut the greating & our names off of the card & write them on the back or just send them & hope people wont notice? I thought I spell checked them. Uggghhhh
I say just send them and hope people don't notice.
I did almost the exact same thing with Christopher's birth announcements. His name was on the top in large print, then again in small print underneath. The small print one was spelled wrong: christoper silas. Nobody noticed unless I pointed it out, but I refused to pay for them again since it was my mistake.
If it would look ok to cut out the greeting, that's what I would do. I notice misspellings - others might not, though. Also, if it's a picture card, a lot of people might not even read the text and just look at the cute picture. Some people will notice, though. I wouldn't write something on the back to call further attention to it. If you ordered from a place with quick turnaround, you might want to re-order. If it's any consolation, I just got my cards from Tinyprints and the pics are blurry (even though the originals are not) and they don't think reprinting will make a difference. Amazing how much we stress over X-mas cards, huh? Oh, and I'm sure I have typos in this response
Good luck!
