Secret Santa....

Am I just being hormonal or would this set a non PG person off too? We are doing Secret Santa between the 8 people in my department and we were required to spend $5.00 each week; everyone else received really cute thoughtful gifts? and I got a cup of Teddy Grahams; not a cute cup. Literally, the plastic to go cups you get at a gas station, I'm sure you've seen them they cost about $1.59 or so.... It really hurt my feelings because I put a lot of thought into my gift. What the heck?

That happened to me last year for Secret Santa, sucks!! As I wasn't pregnant and it pissed me off, I think you are okay with being mad!!

I hate doing exchanges like that.  I always get shafted.  I can still remember the time as a teenager with my swimteam when we had a $10 limit and my person got $10 worth of McD's dollars (remember when they had the funny money instead of cards?) and I got a cheap aerosol perfume that cost about a buck at Walgreen's - it was one of those "If you like XXX, you'll Love..." things.  I was PISSED!

I hate Secret Santa just because of that reason. Some people actually try to get something that is sweet and useful, others are just lazy which ruins it.

That is what sucks about secret santa, not everyone takes it as seriously as others so that means someone in the group is going to be screwed

Are thier men in your office?  Sounds like something a man would do!  One year this guy got me...well he forgot the weekly gift so at the end of the day I got a bag of half eaten runts on my desk.  Probably a bag in his car that his kid was eating.  I wouldn't take it personal...some people are clueless...Plus giving is the best part!
